Bertarelli Cutlery was founded in 1967, by Felice Bertarelli on the Hill in St. Louis, Missouri. Felice was born in Carisolo, a small town in Northern Italy near the Austrian border. Carisolo is known for having some of the best skilled "Moletas" (knife sharpeners) in the world. Felice learned his trade in Carisolo before immigrating to America in 1967.
Today, his sons John, Bob, Frank and Marco continue his tradition.
Through the generations, we have passed down knowledge and expertise that you simply can't find anywhere else in the St. Louis metro-region. Our pride shows in every knife we sharpen. We invite you to visit our factory showroom on the Hill and see first-hand the level of service that we provide.
